Lt. Charles Garbarini Golf Outing

Charles was a Lieutenant in the New York City Fire Department and is one of the heroes murdered during the events of September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center. This event has given the Milltown Fire Department a chance to honor the sacrifice and efforts of Lt. Garbarini, his loving wife Andrea and sons Phillip and Dylan. We have also created life-long friendships and a connection with our Brothers in the New York City Fire Department.

A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will go towards a scholarship in memory of Lt. Garbarini to a high school senior who resides in the Milltown community and is continuing their education.

We have added a second scholarship that will go out in memory of Nicole Surace, a young lady from Milltown that was taken from us in a tragic car accident.  She and her family are and have been a staple in Milltown and have always been involved for the good of the community.

We wish to honor Nicole’s memory by awarding a scholarship in her name to a high school senior who resides in the Milltown community and is continuing their education.

We hope that we can count on your support for the event. We humbly ask for a donation of any type, a hole sponsorship, monetary donation and or something that would be included in the packets given to the attendees would be more than appreciated.  All sponsors receive recognition in our program that will be handed out to all participants.  The Milltown Fire Department Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.

We ask for your support for this event and celebrating the sacrifices made by Charlie, his family, Brother firemen that still continue today.

The event will be held on June 21, 2021 at the Cranbury Golf Club in West Windsor, New Jersey and encourage you to attend the event as well.
